## Test Maintenance Guidelines

### Running Tests Before Commits
```bash
npm test
```

### Updating Tests When Code Changes
1. Run existing tests to ensure they pass
2. Add new tests for new functionality
3. Update tests for changed behavior
4. Remove tests for removed features

### Test Organization
- Unit tests: `tests/unit/`
- Configuration tests: Focus on `config.test.js`
- Keep tests close to implementation
- One test file per source file

## Continuous Integration Recommendations

### GitHub Actions Workflow
```yaml
name: Tests
on: [push, pull_request]
jobs:
  test:
    runs-on: ubuntu-latest
    steps:
      - uses: actions/checkout@v3
      - uses: actions/setup-node@v3
        with:
          node-version: 18
      - run: cd unified-ai-platform && npm install
      - run: cd unified-ai-platform && npm test -- --coverage
      - uses: codecov/codecov-action@v3
```
